Synchronize files between Android phone and computer

In order for AllSync to access the files on an Android phone, they must be made available via drive letters. This step-by-step guide will show you how to make the files on the internal memory of your Android phone available on your computer using a drive letter.

1. Install AndroidDrive

First install the free software AndroidDrive on your computer.

2. Dokan installieren

Install the free software Dokan on your computer.

3. Activate USB-Debugging

Activate USB debugging on your Android device:

To do this, open the phone settings and navigate to About Phone -> Software information -> Build number.
Tap Build number 7 times until the Developer options have been activated.
Go back to the main settings and tap on the new entry Developer options at the end of the list.
In the Developer options, enable the USB debugging option.

4. Connect mobile phone to computer

Start AndroidDrive.
Connect your phone to a USB port on your computer.
AndroidDrive will then automatically connect your phone's internal storage to a free drive letter.
